Welcome to the site.

12.5's are about as wide as you can go without getting into specifics on rim backspacing or rim spacers

Just drop the air preasure in your tires to 15-20psi and you can go fine in sand, Dick Cepeks go pretty good aired down too. Momentum makes a huge differance too. once you get it moving keep enough throttle to keep it going. Or buy some paddles for the rear..

True 'dat! I bought the FCIIs because I run 360 miles of mostly interstate between Florida and my small piece of farmland in south/central Ga. Then I play hard (hunt/fish, etc.) when I'm there. I needed a tire that would not get chewed to sh*t on the pavement but still be able to go in the low country hog huntin'.

The FCIIs were a perfect fit for me, a true A/T - M/T hybrid. The center tread is more like an A/T, but the side blocks are quite aggressive and it has some pretty nice side-biters. When you air down, you put more of the outer blocks down and the foot-print gets flatter. Can usually hang with the boys with the real aggressive M/Ts then with no problem...

Taken from... http://news.pickuptrucks.com/2010/04...n-in-moab.html

"40x14.50 tires on 17-inch wheels. The BFG K2 Mud Terrains with Kevlar sidewalls offer good traction, with excellent sidewall protection at low inflation pressures"

Google works wonders...
