hey 02dodge my impressions of the 3030 are i love it, at idle its silent, on crusie you hardly hear it but on the throttle you def hear it. where my biggest issue is, is coming home late. thelittle bit of reving wakes the kids as they are lite sleepers. i could careless if it pisses the niebours off. i haven't towed with it yet. and since i have a 2500 i don't have a stock rear res. might be all i need to dampen it down. otherwise i love the muffler. truck sounds good. throttle response is better.

They are made by TFP. Chrome stainless cover. I've had them on for two years and they still look great. Got them from a seller on eBay. Name is jigowattsdiesel.

exiting in stock position will make it loud and possibly drone...it will be much quieter if it's dumped over axle.. I've said this for years, I just had my smog test last week. added a tail pipe to my dump to exit in stock position for testing... during the week I had it on, the sound in the cab was sooo much louder, soo was the drone.... got tired of it, unclamped it and took it off and it's really quiet in the cab...

I've run a 22" mag for years, best sounding truck in my area..I only say this because everyone who's heard it has gone to the muffler shop i go to and has duplicated my setup, I'm not talkin 1 or 2 guys...I'm talkin a ton... I did run a shorter mag when i first got my truck, droned like a ***** (stock piping throughout)...then i decided to go with flows for a year, louder with less drone...then I decided to run the same mag with a dump over axle, I couldn't believe how quiet it was in the cab..the only reason I went to a bigger mag was because of the custom exhaust setup i did and went with a dual in/single out but reversed so that the single out was the exhaust side...

hmm might have to look at dumping it then. any thoughts on why this would be quieter? i don't have to worry about emissons tests where i am so it could stay dumped all the time. i'm eager to hear how it is towing but unfortunately we got a ton of snow to go before i can test that

you guys are making it sound like a at3030 is louder than a flowmaster 40.... i thought the complete opposite myself that being said ive never heard a at3030 in person just in sound clips
