Well...after reading this forum for over a year now, i have decided to become a member. I have learned alot on this site and can tell some of you really know your stuff. I am looking forward to learning much more and recieving advice from you all when i need it.

My truck...I know im gonna get some grief for not posting pictures with this thread. I promise that will happen soon...as soon as i figure it out. I have a 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 Big Horn addition 4x4 in sunburst orange.

Mods so far...2 1/2 inch leveling kit, 285/55/R20 BFG all terrain ta's on chrome clad stock wheels, flowmaster dual exhaust, K&N drop in air filter, tinted front side windows, summit racing lights behind the grill, cab lights, extang full tilt tanneau cover, stainless bull bar, bushwacker pocket style fender flares.

Very near future mods...3" PA body lift, PA gap gaurds (should be here today), 35x12.50x18 nitto trail grapplers on black wheels. Still struggling with what wheel to go with. This will be my first body lift install...any and all advice would be great! Thanks guys

First off Welcome to the forums, it's a great place, and we all spend too much time here answering questions and bs'ing with each other.

Second, great color choice on your truck. It wasn't my first choice but it has really grown on me and it looks really good when it's clean.

Last, how much did you pay for those fender flares, and where did you get them? I want to buy a set for my truck but can't decide if I like the factory style flare or the pocket flare better. Any input on them?

The fender flares came from a local shop here in ohio called ohio light truck parts or OLTP. They are made by Stampede and the owner of the shop told me they are an exact copy of the Bushwacker brand. But according to him they are made from thicker material. He had a set on his megacab, so i got to take a good look at them before i bought mine. I paid $350.00 for them...about ahundred bucks cheeper than the bushwackers also. They fit perfect. I really didnt know if i wanted to paint them or not, so i figured i would leave em black and if i wanted to i could pull em back off and paint them. Everyone seems to like them black and i think i do too. What do you guys think?

Yeah if I get them, I will leave them black. I am thinking about getting some black wheels too. Maybe some Soft 8's or something. Havent decided on that yet.

Yep...black wheels for me too. I'm still not sure wich ones i want yet. UPS delivered my PA body lift yesterday so i need to decide on some wheels soon. I know i am going with nitto trail grapplers for tires.
