Default Some changes to the truck

Well I decided that I am going to start changing the look of the truck a little. I am going to get some Mopar step bars in black and either have my wheels powdercoated black or buy some aftermarket rims. I just painted my grill and the ram emblem in the middle of the grill and I think it looks awesome, and will set off the new look of the truck nicely. I think this weekend I may tackle the headlights and paint the inside black. We will see what happens. I still think that I am going to ditch my 2" leveling kit and just do some spindles and shackles. Let me know what you think about the plans.

Here are some pics.

Looks awesome! Dude, I did the exact same thing to my emblems, grill and nerf bars. Really works with black rims. My headlights are next too.

I just looked at your pictures in your album and man you have a nice truck. You should post pictures of it more often. I really like the nerf bars and the gas cap, looks really good on that red truck. How much did those nerf bars run you? Where did you get them? I have been looking all over the place, but cant find a price I like. Thanks for the compliments, I may just have my wheels powdercoated.

Looks good!

But, why use the pool table as a paint booth, tool box and storge bin?

This is going to look good man....i like what you planning on....i think you should leave it the way it is now as far as the level...if you were going lower i would have kept your other wheels or look for some 20's. i think once you get the headlights done and the wheels it will look killer. Also dont forget that plastic peice on the front bumper....it looks like its starting to fade.

Haha, the pool table is good, I didn't paint on it, just where I set the grill to take the picture . It does act as a tool bench every now and then though, it needs new felt anyway. A pool table can be used for many things

So you guys think I should keep the leveling kit and add 3" spindles? I already ordered the shackles so I hope that the 2" of lift in the rear that they are said to add will be enough. I think it should be. 5" total lift up front and 2" in the rear?
