3.)Although you gain no actual HP from the change, do you essentially gain RWHP since you lessen the strain on the drive train, making it easier to transfer power??
I dont know about actually gaining rwhp, but yes your acceleration is quicker to a point with the 4.56 gears. Think of it as kinda of a pulley system or when you are riding a bike..When you are in the lower gears (4.56) you can start of easier, accelerate quicker and go up hills etc. When you change to the higher gears it takes a lot more effort to do so but you certainly go much faster on top end on the flats.
Yes, yes and eh ... up for discussion. You don't gain HP, rather, don't loose as much in the drivetrain if that makes any sense.
thats what i mean by gaining RWHP. I know you dont actually gain engine hp, but as opposed to the 20-25% drivetrain loss, would it be more like 15% with the lower gearing?
anybody have any kind of numbers for 0-60 or 1/4 miles times?

I wanted to get a "before" 0-60 in my truck, but I forgot. I'm getting 4.56s installed and should have my truck back tomorrow. I'll definitely see what the 0-60 is after the install.
