Rear end identification

Default Rear end identification

so i cannot find my build sheet for my truck. is there another way to tell what rearend i have? could i somehow check the numbers on the rearend? thanks mike

You have a 1500 which means you have a 9.25 rear end.
If your talking about what ratio you have in the rear and if you have an lsd, then you will need to send your Vin number to Dodge and they will pull your build sheet for you.
I believe you can do this on-line on the Dodge web site.
Someone will chime in.
That or, pull your pumpkin cover and look for the LSD and clutchpack etc inside. Plus counting the revolutions of your drive shaft per number of times your rear wheels tur.

Agreed, you can email Chrysler or stop by a dealership and see if they can bring it up for you.
