The part number is stamped onto the backside of the mirror. The plastic casing part if you turn the mirror around. It is in the format xxxxxxxxAy, x being numbers and y being a letter.

Yep, and I found three useless threads regarding application specific (also see: not CANbus RAM) hardware, and pages of websites that appear to be there simply to generate google hits.

It's been very slow at work tonight, so I had time to answer most of my questions.
For anyone who is interested, here are some of the parts required to retrofit the factory installed uConnect system into our trucks ('06-08 CANbus):

Mirror w/mics: 05064017AD
Mirror harness: 56051317AC
BT module: 05064013AV

Now, some of our trucks are pre-wired for the BT module. If you're that lucky, you can get by with just the list above. Those of us that are not, however, will need to manufacture a harness to get everything to work. There was someone on the LX forums that had accomplished this, but none of his websites are up and running anymore. I've spent hours searching this topic, and this is all the information I could come up with.

I'm glad mine came with the u-connect. The radio display shows the incoming number Caller ID. Pretty cool.
