Default uConnect retrofit

So I'm looking to install a Mopar navigation unit from an '07 RAM into my non-nav RAM. Does anyone know where the factory mic is located for the BT?

The parts manual shows a schematic for Hands Free Kit-Cellular Phone-Blue Tooth Low Speed, but doesn't show where anything goes.

**edit**
The REC unit does not have BT built-in, and requires a separate control unit, harness and rear view mirror for the factory installed BT solution.
myGIG has BT built-in, but I don't know much more than that.

Why not something after market that will look better, sound better and give more flexibility and options?

I have my eye set on an AWESOME Pioneer AVIC unit, but my mod budget just got really tight.

Do you have the buttons on your rear view mirror?

That's the factory installed uConnect then, and your mic(s) are in the mirror. This is the road I want to travel, but I'm going to have to piece together the entire thing, including the mirror. If you ever got the chance, could you provide the part number on your rear view mirror? That would be a huge help!

Yep the mic is in the self-dimming mirror along with the buttons.

Good to know. Yeah sure I can provide you with the part number... Any chance you have any idea where it would be? Maybe in the manual?
