Thinking about getting a tonneau cover

not sure how much they save.....but it will save you on gas. Makes you feel like you have more horse power too. I put the peragon retractable cover on my ram, locks too! check out the site..... www.peragon.com

Worth the money just to be able to keep things dry you hual home on rainy days. plus they do save fuel mine was worth right at 1 mpg on average and that is over 8-10 tanks of fuel.. everytime I roll it up and leave it rolled up for a tank I can see the differance. Do the math 20 gallons of fuel at 3.89 a gallon should pay for its self in less than 6 months if you drive the truck much..

I dont use mine just for driving around town...i use my bed to much and its a pain in the ***. (also i live in AZ so it rains like 3 times a year here) but i have driven my truck cross country several times and noticed considerable savings having the cover on. If im going on a road trip i put it on other wise it sits in the garage.

That's probably more realistic. I have an ARE fiberglas tonneau. Makes the truck a four-door car with a HUGE trunk. If I need to haul somethin' that won't fit, I use my trailer.
