Default Finally changed the spark plugs

95 K miles was too long on theh factory plugs. Have to sell it before they need changing again. What a pain in the behind!

I just did mine last week. Think they were original and last owner never did them. Had 66k miles on them and were heavily worn. Tips were all rounded over and strap was worn half way thru from arc. Sucked to do I agree.

Used Champion as specified. Made a hell of an improvement.

They are not that bad to do. They only take an 1-1/12 hours. It beats paying someone to do the job.

i though the 4.7 plugs were an easy job when i did them because they are right there on top, not like a small block chevy that has them under the exhaust

AMEN to that. I used two different extensions and three different socket wrenches. Had to break out the big socket wrench with the extended handle to break a few of the plugs free. Was general with the anti-seize on the threads of the new ones.
