Hey everyone... I come to say so long to some of you guys.... I have been on this fourm since December 2009 when I first bought my 2005 Dodge ram 4.7L 4x2. I have come many a times to this fourm for questions or ideas and have always had a blast on this fourm.


A recent promotion had me looking at newer trucks.... I was looking at like a 2008 5.7L quad cab 4x4. I went to the dealership to do some research... When I saw this...

2010 Ram 1500 5.7L Crew Cab TRX4. I was in love.... I ended up getting a really good deal on it. It only had 9,000 miles, 1 lease owner. It has the True 40/40 front seat so it has the captions chair. It has a fantastic ride and a whole lot of power. So I say farwell to the 3rd gen family and move up to the 4th gen. See YA!

 

Well if you HAD to leave us 3rd Gen guys, I couldn't think of a better place to go, LOL...

sweet truck..glad you got the hemi! how many miles was on your 05? i'm assuming you traded it in though...have fun with the new ride...any mods in the near future? lol


oh another...don't the rake on newer trucks seem to be getting more and more obvious....why must dealerships do that? we bought a truck to be a truck...not so much on the aerodynamics...

Yeah I traded it in. It had 94,000 miles on it but ran like a champ. They gave me 12000 for it on the trade in. I just might weed, I was going to come to the last gtg but I had to go to a friends wedding that my better half dragged me too. I'm cant wait for the next one though. As far as the rake goes, my 05 originally was a lot worse. After the leveling kit though, all gone. The rake on the new one exaggerated because it is on a hill

 

Congrats on the truck! I have always loved the TRX package, and was sad to see it replaced by the Outdoorsman group. Good luck with it, and you will love the Hemi powerplant.

 

Congrats! Beautiful truck. I thought you were going to say you bought a Prius or something because of gas mileage. Glad you didn't let go of the disease that is a Dodge Ram truck. Oh and congrats on your promotion.
