Question Need some opinions

Hello new poster here. I have been wondering around DF for a long time but never posted before. But I have a problem with my truck and this is the best place to find answers. First off I have a 03 1500 5.7L 4x4. and I never had any problems since I bought the truck in 07. And I have no performance mods. But this morning when i was leaving work the truck was running fine for about 15 mins then started stuttering and lost all power. The engine started clicking and the ETC light started blinking. I pulled off the road and it took everything I had to stop the truck, I was only driving about 35 mph. After i stopped the CEL came on. The truck still runs but idles very rough and it still has no power brakes. I pulled the codes and all I got was P0300 and it does feel like its misfiring pretty bad. Anybody have any ideas on what could be wrong?
I appreciate any help. Thanks guys

My guess is a busted valve spring, pull the heads and take a look...

That is exactly what my 03 did last month when it broke a valve spring. Was in a 25mph school zone when it just started missing.

It was a problem with the 03 Hemi's. Pull the valve covers and check them all. Personally, if you find a bad one, I would replace them all so you don't lose another one later down the road.

Good call Hammer. Pulled the valve cover and found a broken spring on the number 1 cylinder. Time for some new springs and possibly a valve job hopefully just springs though. Never replaced valve springs before. Wish me luck
