Yeah, welcome to the wonderful world of RAM. You might try doing an engine flush and running Amsoil synthetic motor oil. That will help. And of course there is the typical make sure your tires are properly inflated, you are aligned, and you are light on the pedal.

Try the search option. This topic has been covered to death a hundred times.

Good luck!

Definately seems a little on the low side. Is all maintainence up to date? Tire pressure, throttle body ever been cleaned, spark plugs ever changed? I am running 34's and with a mix of highway and city average 14, hand calculated. Straight highway I can get between 18-20 depended what cruise speed is. I'm on the 91 performance tune with MDS disabled also. If everything is up to date, it may be your driving habits.

The short trips are killing your mileage - the motor never gets to warm up. What motor?

Something isn't right. I have the same truck. 14-15 MPG average. I've seen as high as 20 on the highway.

What size wheels/tires are you running?

I was averaging around 13 all city/town driving in the mountains. After a CAI and magnaflow y-pipe and muffler it is getting about 14.5 in the same conditions. I plan to change the plugs soon and add a superchips programmer to see if I can get 15 or better out of it. I also have an 04 4x4 hemi auto with 3:92 gears. I drive 6 miles of dirt road a day with some steep inclines and that kills my mileage as I can't go much over 15mph or so on it.

These engines prefer copper plugs over platinum. You might also try unhooking the battery for about 30 min to reset the adaptive memory and it may help. You should get 11-13 in the city driving easy and 15-17hwy.

That is what I thought. I get an average of about 11.5 in some serious stop and go traffic while I'm here in Portland, OR. Back in Texas I get about 13-14mpg mixed driving. I have the QC/HEMI/4X4 also, which is the trifecta for bad gas mileage.
