I bought this truck with full dual exhaust. No Y or X pipe. Gonna get a Magnaflow Dual/Dual or Cherrybomb vortex Daul/Daul. The louder the better. Please help me pick between the two asap. Thanks guys

The Vortex will blow even the shortest Magnaflow out of the water if we are talking strictly decibel level here. Although the Maggies are among the better flowing mufflers, the Cherry Bombs are well above average as well.

Also keep in mind, the shorter the piping, the louder the exhaust, so turn downs or side exits in front of the rear wheels will be considerably louder than a rear exit setup...

think i'll go with cherry bomb. Should I go vortex or extreme? I might do the turndowns because my dual tips are gettin a little rust on them anyway. Are the turndown just bent exhaust tubing because there under the truck? Or do I need to buy a ready made part? Also Should I go Dual/dual or Dual in/single out for the turndown? Thanks

But that is illegal and a big dollar federal fine if caught removing them.
DodgeForum does not condone the removal of smog equipment.

That being said, it will be louder, but no noticeable power gains on a stock Hemi. Just a loss of low end torque.

They can only fine you if they catch you actually removing them. Most of the shops around here have a banner that reads " Don't ask me to remove your converters and I won't ask you to pay the $10,000 fine"
Heck, I can notice a difference in low rpm power between my stock cat-back and the Magnaflow. The stock stuff, when idling and you put your hand at the end of the tailpipe, all you really feel is heat. With the Magnaflow, even though it has 2 tailpipes, you can feel actual exhaust flow from both. I just put the Magnaflow kit back on Monday. It's nice to be able to switch back and forth in about 30 min. All slip on and band clamped.
I'm not against not running them (I currently don't have any on my Mustang), but it runs the same with no cats as it does with a pair of high flow cats on it. It is a little quieter with them on and doesn't reek of hydrocarbons like it does right now.
With your cam, headers and gears, the effects are probably minimal as they are with my car.
