Unhappy sad weekend for my RAM

Got into an accident last weekend and tore up the front of my baby

Still runs and drives, and no leaks or lights. Airbags didn't deploy, so we weren't moving terribly fast, but she'll never be the same again. There goes the resale value =/

One thing to note when you level your front end: the scissor jack, and even a standard-sized floor jack, become useless for changing a tire. At full-height, the flat tire wasn't even off the ground.

You'll have to start carrying some blocks of wood. That sucks though man. Right after lifting her up too. Thankfully I haven't had such bad luck yet *knock on wood*

That sucks man, fortunately that's not bad damage. A new hood and front bumper and she'll be as good as new... Better the front like that then the bed or cab... Get her fixed, she'll be just fine.

Looks like it could have been alot worse if you didn't have the bull bar.

That does suck.... and I see what I been hearing about Westin the last few years looks to be true, although it did take some of the blow, I had heard they been going thinner and thinner in the steel tubing, the way that crinkled it looks to be quite thin. The Westins from 10-15 years ago would have more dented and not so much crinkled.

Might wanna go for a little more "beef" if you decide to replace it...

Brandon, that's terrible Hopefully no serious injuries. I'm surprised at all the damage to the front end and hood and it popped the passenger tire but no airbags?

I was thinking the same thing as Hammer, that bull bar didn't really seem to ward off a lot of the damage as one would of hoped.

Hopefully the insurance companies will get your baby back in order before you know it.

that bull bar looks like it was made of tin foil?

Sorry to see that man. Your fault or someone else?
