Got some new skins!
I got my new tires mounted up today and I decided to go with the Cooper Discoverer AT3's. I did quite a bit of research into these or the Cooper zeon LTZ's and there was just more good things pointing in the direction of the Discoverers( designed by the MT/DC guys, 55,000 mile warranty, tire reviews from all over the place, slightly more aggressive tread pattern than the A/T tire and last but not least the $75.00 MIR offered my Cooper on these tires. I got a really good deal on them when two local tire shops got to price beating each other. 275/60/20 tires, mounted and balanced, lifetime repair, lifetime rotation, free alignment, free tire disposal,(one of the tire techs loaded my old tires right into the back of his pick-up),and tax for $919.92. Let me know what you guys think.
Sorry no pics with the truck but it was dirty.

Drove to work this morning in a nice steady downpour and the new tires handled very well. I was even looking for more standing water to run through just to make sure they really were handling that well. Loving them so far hope to get a chance to get off road this weekend and try them out in some mud. There seems to be plenty of that right now.

The 20's are too heavy and I would like all the weight savings I can. And I can't justify the extra cost of tires for 20's. I paid almost $1400 this summer for the tires I have now. And I hear tires for 17's are cheaper due to being more available in bigger sizes.
