School : University of Calgary
Major : Engineering - Mechanical
Mods : Stereo, speakers, sub. Custom higher off-road intake, DMH cutout, 6.1 valve springs, few other odds and ends.
I've always paid for repairs, etc on my truck (Dropped $9500 cash I'd saved since I was 14 for the truck). The worst issue with school has been not having time to work on my truck with homework and distance to my shop. I try to set aside money specifically for repairs so I know I won't be screwed if something pops up.

Well I'm not in college anymore, graduated a few years back in 07'. I can understand modding on a budget though. I drove this through college. It's obviously not the coolest car ever. I used to catch a lot of $hit from people when I told them I drove a tricked out saturn, but it was a lot of fun to drive/own. and yes paid for all of it...including the college education by myself.
All through school i had my eye on out for a RAM. always looked a 2nd gen trucks mostly. Had always wanted one since the movie twister came out. Then once I graduated...I started really looking for the exact truck I wanted. Graduated w/ a degree in business mgmt. landed a good job. bought me a RAM.

JKG, I was at Little Rock for about ten and a half years. What do you do?
We don't get more money, as a service. We just get sent to more locations with higher per diem, and such. Now, overall QOL benefits, yeah... Air Force unabashedly has the rest of the services beat in that market.
