Default College Student Thread!!!

Hey everyone.
So I've noticed in my time on here that alot of us are poor, broke college students. So I thought I would start a thread so see if we can get tabs on all of us who are in college and still love to mod our trucks. So chime in with where you go to school, your major (if you want), and what youre driving. As for me:
School: University of South Florida, Tampa FL
Major: Political Science and also a Midshipman in Naval ROTC (Marine Corps Option)
Ride: 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 Hemi (Mods in m sig)

Hopefully we can get this thing to take off so all of us college students can share ideas on how to mod on a budget, school experiences and all that good stuff.

P.S. All the older guys are welcome to chime in with there college experiences as well and maybe give a few pointers to us young folk

I guess I'll play, although I'm somewhat nontraditional. I'm 33 with a wife and two kids. Live in my own place. Had a full-time gig, but I'm kind of full-time civilian now. Wife is still Active Duty.

-University of Maryland, European Division
-History major

I am actually in my first class with UM here right now. It's a required computer course over the winter break. Yay. I've taken classes with UM Asian division back in the '90's when I was on Guam. First classes over here with Euro Div., though. I previously attended Arkansas State University (they actually made a major non-BCS bowl this season!), majoring in Early Childhood Education. Changed majors to History when I got over here because they didn't offer an Ed degree. I want to be an elementary Social Studies teacher.

Default Why not, right.

Yep, you can definitely say broke college student again.

I study at East Stroudsburg University in The Pocono's of Pennsylvania.
Major is Political Science with a Pre-Law Minor. (Still a laborer at heart).

Between all the studying and scrounging for beer money, still find time to work on my rig. Interested in seeing how this thread takes off.

I believe there is a "College Student Club" in the club section if I'm not mistaken. Not 100% sure as I graduated college before most of you college age kids were born...

Really? I didn't really search around much before I started this lol. I just thought it would be interesting and Megatron my dad's side of the family is from that area. Allentown specifically. But your situation is the same as mine except for the Pre-Law part

08Hemi, Allentowns a pretty nice area..just too much i guess city and people for my liking haha. I live in the rurals of Scranton actually and its pretty nice, but im probably moving south after graduation. I actually plan on working for the Natural gas companies to get some cash for law school down the road. But Good luck with school and the Navy. Also, ima have to get some pictures of my rig up once I'm done working on this thing.

I'm from a bit north outside of Scranton. My original Air Force recruiter was right next to the ESU campus. I did some work in the office right after I joined many beers ago. Driving Rt. 191 over those mountains in the snow every day sucked in a 1988 Plymouth Reliant K! I have a ton of friends who went/graduated from ESU.

Chet, thats pretty cool. I guess the worlds small after all haha. But yah, route 191.. ahh how I love the winter weather of the poconos. Freshman year I was driving a RWD all winter.. ended off the road just a couple a times.
