You would save alot of bucks. I bought the gallon and the normal size from Walmart and I just keep the little bottle topped off and keep it in the truck

Yep, it's available in multiple concentrations. I buy a bottle at Lowes for $5 and change that only treats 48 gallons, same size 8 oz. bottle. The reason I buy this one is that it's easier to measure into my small containers for chain saw/garden tools/yard tools/generators/outboards/etc.
Then I pay the $8 and change for the 8 oz. bottle that treats 128 gallons for my vehicles...

That would be nice, 2200 gallons gets me about 26,400mi.

I picked up 3 bottles of the 8oz at Walmart a few weeks ago. I just ordered a 32oz bottle offline the other day. I plan on just re-filling the 8oz bottles...

I've started using StarTron too after I read what Hammer had to say about it. I think I've gained a little with in-town driving, but I'll know more when I hit the road when work fires back up (have a project about 50 miles from the house).

i think i might have posted it here once already but it could not hurt to post it again. i think this may be the build up and damage done to the heads that occurs from running 87 octane gas. the same guy i got that posted the pic also say something about the compession on the 2009 and newer hemi's being something like 10.5:1 which i am pretty sure would require the higher octane gas.

I don't run 87 anymore I just wanted to for comparing the difference between 87 and 89 on startron. I will run one more tank of 87 to compare the results at the end. I can get 91 without ethanol, but it cost about $.20 more per gallon.

So I am sure I will be running startron and 89 from here on out except the one tank of 87 I am going to compare to.

I bought the Superchips tuner and started Star Tron at the same time. I can not be sure which is the culprit, but much better MPG has been attained. While in OK and with the speed limit being 75 on most highways and wind being 40 mph (average), I was getting 12 - 13 Mpg and it was horrible (with non-ethanol gas).
I bought the tuner and started the Star-tron additive and got to return to getting 15 - 17 all the time at 75 mph. I use 91 or 93 also, if I can find it, and most OK pumps are ethanol free.

I am not milking the pedal either. This MPG gain comes with a good amount throttle useage. I still get to play. The overhead console is affected by the freeplay, but insted of killing the numbers, it just slightly lowers it I do not have be a sissy and drive it like a Prius. I can get these numbers and every 20 miles get to jump on it.

I am impressed with both products and I understand the counter argument. I spent 300$+ on a tuner, add 3$ per tank of Star-tron, and have to use 91 or 93 octane. If you didn't do this, then please dont "educate" me. I got it.

Never has the engine been more "ready", more worthy, and the tranny tune is quite worth it. The truck has always been impressive, but now it has even more to prove. If I did milk it, then I would be even more impressed. I will post the results as soon as I can deny walking this truck after the upgrades.

i just filled in 3/4 tank today after 8 months of not pumping gas. came out to be 16 gallons which put mpg at 12.3mpg with babying throttle. Anyways I use the regular 87. Do you just pour it in your gas tank after you fill her up and mileage increases?

I put it in first, that way the sloshing of incoming fuel helps to mix it up. My hand calculated mileage for my last tank came out to 14.49mpg!! Just opened my second 8oz bottle yesterday. People can say what they want, I'm sticking with this stuff. Just got my 32oz bottle in the mail yesterday, I should be set for a little while...
