Ok one ore tank down 15.2 mpg hand calc. I was on the highway a lot more with this tank 85% hwy with a 800 lbs bush hog in the back of the truck.
Right now my over head says 16.3 mpg almost all hwy 70 mph with the same cargo. My over head read out was dead on with my last tank at 15.2.Not bad for a almost 7000 lbs 2500 truck. My 6.7 before I deleted it would only do about 16 mph all hwy, and about 18 or so deleted.
I have gone through 2 bottles of StarTron now and 8 tanks of gas all using 89 ethanol. My average mpg was 14 - 15 with a few tanks above 15 mpg. I would say all in all I got about a 1 to 1.5 mpg bump with this, or about the same mpg I did get with 87 non ethanol fuel.
That's about what I find. I always run 93 octane due to my tune, but I will get about 1.5 - 2 MPG better with either non-ethanol fuel or Star Tron added to ethanol fuel over ethanol gas without the additive...
