That's how we felt about the Cherokee. We figured sooner or later it HAS to stop breaking. We fixed just about everything. It didnt it it just kept getting worse. After thousands of dollars we new it was a mistake to have gone that far and it wasn't going to end so we had to bite the bullet on a new car.

Just broke 90,000 on my 04. Runs like a champ and doesn't even have any sort of residue on the engine or trans. Love this truck!

I've got quite a bit of time and money invested in the truck already, but there is also quite a bit more I would need to do in the near future if I decide to keep it. So my question is this: how many miles are most of you seeing out of these Hemi's (or these trucks in general) before you really get into some major issues? Are they consistently going 200k miles?

I know it's rather vague but figured I'd ask.
I have an 04 quad 5.7 hemi with 264,000 on it. Engine and trans are strong. Had to replace A/C condenser, fan, compresser, and drier. This was my fault, not poor manufacturing.

Replaced ball joints, radiator, power steering pump, front hub assembly, and alternator all around 175,000. But all in all, I've gotten my money out of it for sure! Just change the oil regularly and it will run for a long time!

Almost forgot, I also changed the shift solenoid around the same time as everything else. I've heard these go about every 100,000 miles, though, that's just what I've heard.

When the time comes, I will have no problem buying a ram with 150,000 mile on it, to me, it's worth it as I've had great luck with this one and my 01 quad cab Dakota SLT V6, with 200,000 on it at trade!

Just plain jane truck I just bought yesterday for 1800.00. Seems to run good, only major problem is no AC, blower does not work at all. Going to get title changed now. Will be back on forums soon looking for clues.

Only know so far he spent 1k on frontend repairs, replaced radiator, power steering pump and new tires just recently. Was repainted at some point but not very high quality. Motor and tranny seem to be doing good. Few codes to address po551,442 and 300 later. Going to start on AC first. Whew another project but price seemed right.
