thanks guys! I watched it like a hawk today, and it wouldn't go below middle. Maybe just because it was cold here last night? (~40)

Blacksport, how do you like the Magnaflows on your truck? I'm gonna have to make a decision on aftermarket exhaust, and want her to rumble!

I have heard positive things about magna flow. My ram had cheery bomb on it already when I got it and the sound alone I will be a cherry bomb guy for life. Tons of compliments mostly from ladies might I add. Overall I have heard great things about magna flow and have been told by family to stay away from flow master. Take my opinion with a grain of salt im by no means and expert or amateur with exhaust would rank my knowledge at beginner level.

Thank you, squiggles. In my old ram I could look at the sticker in the glovebox to see the gears, but apparently the 07's don't have this sticker, so whereabouts may I find what gears are in her???

It does have the towing package, has a "trailer brake controller" under the dash, I guess the previous owner put that in.

I'm thankful they also installed a spray-in bedliner, my old truck's bed looked HORRIBLE--scratches and rust spots galore!

corvo,

Love the magnaflow in my truck...nice little rumble at idle, but mean and throaty when you step into it. And since our trucks have the MDS, little to no drone. If you have the TT package, you will have 3.92 gears, which are WAY better than the 3.55's!! Enjoy your new truck!!

You may still have 3.55's with a tow package but was less prominant with the 20" wheel. Best to check you build sheet for that and everything else at http://www.compnine.com/vid.php.

Hemi4109, I put my vin into that site and it brought up a whole butt-load of stuff, is everything in that list on my truck? or do I have to sort through and figure out what's on mine and what aint? Oh, and thank you for the link!

I really need to do something with the exhaust... I can't hear anything but the fan when she's running

If it says report for xxxx vin number at the top, then it's yours. keep in mind that most of the stuff/codes on there are standard items on all trucks so the list looks longer than it should be. It should however list build date, tire size, paint colour, gearing, etc for your specific truck, or at least what was in the truck on day one.

Cut off all the stock pipe from the muffler back, install Thrush turbo, new pipe.
Be happy.

Oh, wait, of course I would say that....
