I know, I'm a college student as well

Personally I would get the exhaust system done the way you are going to run it first, then add the headers. You are not going to see great things through any set of headers, if they're running through a crappy exhaust system, so fix the system first. I know funds are tight in college, so I want you to get the best for your buck, and not buy an expensive item first and be disappointed. You can always add headers later...Good luck

Yeah, it might make America's funniest home videos or something, or the nightly news as Old Man killed by 21 year old sailor, or Old man plays anchors aweigh for departing sailor

Ok. Thank you! That does make alot of sense though!

And heres my to-do list:

1. Magnaflow Y-pipe
2. Take out the 2.25 piping from muffler back and put in 2.5 (the person who did it, put 2.25 piping in the 2.5 outlets in the back of the muffler. Which is completely stupid!)

3. Get different tips. Mine stick out and the guy dropped one and dented it (it looks like crap anyways)http://http://s1273.beta.photobucket...95956860452619

4. Get headers but not sure when that'll happen

Oh, and im wanting to get all this done at the same time by a muffler shop (not the same one that did it before though)

The only reason I have yet to do the Y pipe and new exhaust on my truck is that I want to do headers as well and I want it all to be done at the same time as well

jegs sells all kinds of exhaust tubing. Also your links no worky. Try inserting an image through the toolbar here, then copying the direct link from photobucket, that should work.

As long as you leave the cats in the stock location, shorties will bolt right up to your exhaust system, with no modifications, at least my BBK shorties did
