Default Diesel turbo on a Hemi?

I've read that diesel turbos can work fine on some gas engines cuz the type of fuel doesn't effect a turbo. I don't even think it'd fit on a hemi but heck thought I'd ask.

Or you could mount a Dyson with an air cleaner and run a switch to the interior. It'd be spooling' 24/7. Scare off some bow ties and ovals for sure.

If you are talking about a stock cummins Holset HX35 or HY35 turbo a hemi would probably spool it. Downside is towing with a turbocharged GASOLINE engine can create too high of an EGT (exhaust gas temp) and cause serious issues. If you can figure out how Ford runs the eco boost and keeps EGT's down while towing you would be fine. The main thing with the eco boost is it is twin turbo and the turbos are quite small.

And they like to burn out if you actually use them to tow.

There are people using the HX and HY35 snails on Hondas with excellent results. I'm confident that if a 1.6L can spool up a turbo that size with 8.5:1 compression to full boost at 3000rpm, then a Hemi that's almost four times the displacement can spool it with ease.

You could do a remote turbo with an intercooler. That might keep the air charge down cool enough. But I wouldn't tow with it.

You can adapt just about anything with money and time. Towing would be no problem, just make sure you have the proper waste gate and a pyrometer guage to keep it under control.
