My opinion is get one with the hemi. Also make sure to check the dash board for cracks. Over all very nice trucks, I won't buy anything else

I lean the other way , I grew up with dad getting
Mopar only. So I went GM 94 z71 beat the hell out
Of that truck still have it 220,000 , kept for emergency s
And for my wife for winter driving . Got a 04 1500 hemi qc
4x4, with 38,000 . Big mistake last dodge ill ever buy
Check out rearend problems , hvac door problems,
Valve spring problems, GAS HOG my 10 year older z71
Gets 12.5 get real . And I'm a tech . Anybody that tells you
A stock D vin hemi gets much better mpg is full of of it.
Buying 89 octane sucks .

These mpg claims aren't unrealistic. I had a 2002 dodge ram with a 5.9 magnum and got 13-14 mpg on average. Taking the same route to work with my now 2003 ram hemi I get 17.5-18 mpg. With pure city driving you are going to see bad mileage, but you will with any truck, new or old.

I guess it would be nice to know why you're not pleased with the GMC. I've had all 3 GM/Ford/Dodge and am by no means brand loyal so I might be able to give some comparison depending on what you're actually looking for seeing as you're looking at something close to what I'm driving now.

Ask and see what has been replaced or repaired. At that year/mileage, most of the things that go wrong should have already occurred.

All trucks break, quit crying. No brand is worse than another, they all have problems.

Your response isn't worth a reply, but I'm bored
Rear differentials should last 100s of thousands
Miles with no problems. From my research it's very
Common for rearend death before 50,000 .
Pathetic .

Like I said, all trucks have problems. Ever heard of a high mileage gm truck with the original auto trans? Me neither
