Default Body panels

05 ram 2500 QC 4x4 slt 5.7L nv4500. 83,000 miles. I'm looking for the inner rocker panel, Lmc doesn't show them. They have the outer rockers and cab corners that I need. But I can't find the inner rocker. I'll get Mopar panels if I have to, just be easier to put in a panel, rather than make one. Panels and paint are allot cheaper than a truck at this point.

Don't know which piece you're looking for exactly, but check here:

I like how they bundle parts.

I'm looking for the rocker that's up under the cab, and ties into the floor under the truck, where the factory running boards fasten to, it's looking like I'm gonna be making a panel. Unless it's part of the floor pan.

Not sure how the 3rd gen is put together, but the back of the rocker was part of the outer floor on the 2nd gen.

I just cut out the old and made a patch, floor/rocker back was 16 gauge steel - so I had to drop by the steel supply and grab a cut off.

You can check out what I did on this thread for the 2nd gen, might give you some ideas...

Going from what I've found, there is the outer panel, a middle panel, and then the back panel. I'll try to post pics tomorrow. I'm surprised I haven't torn the step tubes off as bad as it's rotted lol.

You did some nice work on yours. Looks good.

On the driver side of the 2nd gen, I had to replace the floor - it was pretty rotted from the top side. I grabbed a better donor piece out of the jyard, and patched it - then installed it. This one might me closer to what you're going to face...

Here is the donor truck in the jyard, after I used my battery driven reciprocating saw to remove the driver side flooring...

Driver rear cab corner, and rocker. I'll do both sides as well. I'll take the box off, it needs one of those also. Already had the wheel wells fixed, rust came back. Plus the floor of the bed is rotting.

This is the driver side, passenger side isn't much better.
this is the panel I can't find.

Nope, from what I gather there are three pieces. Outer, middle, inner. I can only find the outer, and middle. Inner is unavailable even from Mopar it's discontinued. I would have thought Lmc would have it, but they only have the outer.

By the picture, the inner is flat with a bend at the bottom. Shouldn't be too bad to fabricate, I'd get some strap steel and a use a vice to crimp it to look factory. I'd also cut it open first and see how far up it goes, because these areas usually rust from the inside out.
