I think you hit the nail on the head Dewalt378G. I wish i had some say so at the company, because i would make sure that someone from the company, was reviewing this website/forum because there's alot of dodge owners on here, with good feedback. Feedback which could help elevate/propel Dodge's status to the next level......

I dont think a carreviewer can really review what a truck person really wants and need in a truck. This is why trucks today are getting more like SUV's. They bitch about how hard a truck rides and then the next generation of truck rides softer, they bitch about how it lost some of its off road prowess or cant put a snow plow on the front. A good truck will never ride like a SUV.

The reviewers, I believe it was a total of five tested the five leading trucks on the market. They critique things like Truck handling with 1000 LBS in the bed. (Something i think we would want to know, Don't you?)
Rear seat legroom, interior, bedliner, acceleration loaded/unloaded with weights in the bed.
Tow rating and other things that I, as well as other readers find important.......

very true. good point. i think that it would've been better if each of them tested each vehicle... right? not 1 per truck...

Things like Wind noise (Decibel level) rough ride, comfortable interior, and power windows might not be something a 19 year old like yourself is concerned with. But when you get in your forties, those are some of things I check into, prior to purchasing a vehicle that I plan to keep for a number of years......
As would I in a truck or any other vehicle. I woudln't want wind noise and such in a pickup or car. But the report I read was for an 06 Jeep wrangler ragtop with half doors. Now who buys a wrangler expecting comfort and such. I know wiht mine I bought it becuase it's more about functionality than comfortability. But i completely agree wiht you for any other vehicle other than a jeep wranlger. I'm just saying sometimes those consumer reports just really arn't thought out at all.

I love my 07 Ram, I test drovethem all and not only did I like the Ram best, but Dodge gave me the most equipment for my money. It is nice driving down the road looking down on all those other trucks.

No way that toyota crewmax is 43k. I'd say closer to 50+. And that must have been a ram with every single bell and whistle to be 47k

My Dodge dealer didn't even have a 1500 that expensive on the lot. I wonder if anyone has gone to Dodge.com and tried to build one at that price.
