Default FlowMaster rocks - but what else?

Hey Everyone - I'm looking for a quick bit of advice:

I have an '07 1500 Quadcab with the 4.7 liter Magnum v-8.
I had Flowmaster true duals installed (sound awesome!), but now it's got a bit of a hiccup in the shift when I floor it from a dead-stop as it goes into 2nd gear. Now - with gas here at $3.40, I don't floor it too often, but I am sure that something's not right.

My question is this: Is a new air filter alone going to help me out? Or do I need to look into a new chip or module or something?

Thanks a bunch for any advice.

Cheers,
~R~

Try the cold air intake, you made the exhaust flow much faster and freeer but now you need to make it so it can bring in air as fast as its exhausting.

Yeah - gas is ridiculous right now. Even up as far north as Redding it's around $3.35. Just crazy.

Anyway - I Love my truck! Just over 3k miles on it. I've got the Big Horn package, so Sirius Radio, tow package, big tires and power everything. What an amazing truck.

I put on Westin Signature Series full-length side steps on, and it looks great. I also just ordered a K&N typhoon aircharger, so hopefully when I get that put on I won't have the wierd issue with shifting anymore.

Hey Guys!

So, I got the Cold Air put in (easier that I thought it'd be), but now I get a lot of noise. Please don't get me wrong, I KNOW that I should EXPECT a lot more noise - but I thought it would come only from under the hood. Now it sounds like there's a vacuum leak - but inside the cab. Only at a particular RPM/Speed I get this kinda whistle inside the cab. Almost sounds like it could be associated with the A/C.

Any ideas?

Thanks!
