Cold Air intake?
Umm, thats how I really look, only my hair is a little darker in person, and you know the camera adds 10 pounds.
Bet ya can't tell what kind of air filter I have on my Fatboy? Hehe
It's all good.

What I find funny about this is thread is that a few threads back in a similar disscussion https://dodgeforum.com/m_785991/tm.htm
were peopleslamming K&N and anyone that used one. They alsoquoted Scientific test, Independant Testing, Graphs, Tablesand Opinions about how K&N are crap and will gunk up your TB.
Now in THIS thread they posted a link to an Independant Test that placed the K&N dropin filter as the one that did the best.
Things that make ya go Humm.
Follow the instructions on recharging your K&Nfilter and it won't gunk up your TB. I have been using K&N since the 70s and never had an engin fail due to gunk/dirt/mud getting past it.

If you want extra noise and flashy colored parts
go with spending $200-400 on a CAI.
MPG and HP gains are near zero if true tests are done
as has been confirmed by independent volunteers

If you do a proper scientific test
there is no MPG gain from a KN filter

-K&N Drop In. For those that like the stock box, this seemed like a winner. However, based on the performance numbers, it may seem the only benefit might be an increase in MPG and a lower maintenance cost.
Which is exactly what some of us were trying to say in the Other Thread. Hmmm.
The link does say that in their summary
but since they confined their testing to rear wheel dyno and quartermile runs,
they probably should have refrained from making that guess.
I say 'guess' because they did not attempt to measure MPG
and did not figure up the economic cost of buying the KN
and putting in much more labor into the cleaning of it
or cleaning it much more often than a paper filter.

I have a dual cold air intake filter on my truck but I have no idea what kind it is and where my friend bought it at because I bought it from him.
It's badass though and no other dodge owners have ever seen something like it from what I've heard. Ill post pictures of it later today.

I looked at all the different typs of so called CAI systems. The only one, besides a ram air system that actually pulls air from outside the engine bay is Volant. Cold air makes power, not hot engine air. look at designalso not just thespecs. Most specs are more then likely done on a dyno in a controlled enviroment. Engine bay heat is what around 200 degree's maybe? I bet it is not that hot outside Also according to the numbers Volant has them beat. Good luck with your choice.

your "If Hemi owners would readScientifically Tested by Unbiased Volunteers" statement that lead to..-K&N Drop In. For those that like the stock box, this seemed like a winner. Rock On K&N! Kinda makesme all warm and fuzzy inside.
I am onewho is man enough to admitmaking a mistake, I have done it here in a few threads, Oil for MDS Hemis being one. Hey if I'm wrong - I'm wrong.
You post alot O crap and to try to impress us with your Vast research knowledge. Then something like this happens and Oops you gotta back peddle to try and save face.
You sir can't seem to admit when you are wrong, even when You present proof ofbeing wrong. Then you try to rationalizeit away. I never saw the word GUESS in that summery, I think you are projecting your feelings here. (dude you have issues)
