I've heard a lot of good comments on the Mopar CAI. Just make sure you get one with a heat shield around the filter some of the cheap ones on ebay look good but don't have this feature. K&N is always a realiable choice also.

AFE make some really nice ones but its very pricey to say the least. Mine has probably one of the biggest filters I've seen on a CAI and has help quite a bit with power and mpg. I'm getting the same MPG that I would normally be gettingdriving slow and "gas minded"driving faster and notso gas minded. ( i hope that made some sense if any).In better words I've beengettin around 15-16 mpg with a lead foot after installing it. Sounds nice too.

I put a AEM Brute Force on mine. I have had it on for about a month now and can not reallt tell a difrence in MPG; but it does have a noticable throttle response. Plus the exhaust is a tad bit louder. It comes with a heat shield and pre-drilled holes for the o2 sensor. Overall I am very happy with the intake.

I have the complete K&N cold air intake on my '03 hemi. It not only performs better with a slight gas mileage gain it also sounds better. The engine noise is louder....meaner if you will....but not annoying loud.I would recommend a higher flow exhaust in the future. Also clean the filter with a K&N cleaner kit ($15) at least once a year. last you a lifetime.

I just installed a Mopar CAI yesterday. Significantly crisper throttle response with slightly improved mpg. Exhaust is a little louder and the engine has a nice growl.

I agree with tinyfxds, K & N is always a reliable choice, based on experience, absolutely great. I chose it from all the Dodge Cold Air Intakes. If you don’t like K & N, you can choose from other choices, Toucan or Iceman might be. But, I don’t hear so much about them.

Where did you get that Mopar CAI? If you had mpg improvement that instant, that must’ve been unique. I never heard about that fast before.
