Default leveling kit

ok i have a 03 hemi 2wd quad cab. i have heard ups and downs about the kit on a 2wd. somw people say it will screw up the rack and pinion but im not sure. this is the first truck i have ever owend and do not have money for a full lift kit. i would be satisfied with the front leveled. if anybody has had done this please reply and let me know if it is ok to do and i wont be getting myself into trouble in the long run.

I have a Daystar 2.5" leveling kit on my ram and works great. It was easy to install too. All I needed to get was longer shocks for the front and alignment. The 2.5" seems to bring the front up just a little bit more than the rear, so you can go with a 2" kit, or just get a block for the rear.

Here are some pic's I just took. You can see how much more room there is in the front now, and there is a pic of a coil spacer itself.

Kvsmith2004 - what shocks did you use when you installed the Daystar? My understanding is that you the stock shocks aren't long enough? Thanks.

The stock shocks are not long enough for the 2.5" kit. I went with a pair of rancho rs5000, I don't know what model number they are though. I will try to find the paperwork tonight. I would recommend getting another shock though, it is not any better than the stock shocks.
