The short and sweet of it is I have obtained financing through E-Loan to cover the truck.
The MSRP of the truck with the options is $40,055.00. I have the guy down to $31,500.00.

I need to shave off a grand or so somewhere to afford the payment at 72 months. Is it realistic to call back telling him I can't go any higher than $30K on this vehicle? Any advice is appreciated. I'm ready to deal within the next few days at most!

youre not dealing with him in person? well, tell him, "hey, i talked to my bank/wife/loan officer/or whatever and to be able to afford these payments, i cant go anything over $30k on the truck. knock off that $1500 and well sign the paperwork!"

Well, I spoke to E-Loan. The deal is done and the check is being overnighted. I called the salesman and played hardball with an emphasis on "I'd be committing financial suicide if I pay over $29,500.00 for the truck Bob." He said he'd speak to "The Boss" and call back.

Now we'll see how desperate they are to off load a Hemi Sport QC!

They can do 29,500. I paid 26,5 for a hemi 4x4 slt. But I didn't get the nav unit....

 

He wanted $31,500, I wanted $29,500. We settled on $30,000 even with a guaranteed $12,500 for my Scion. I'm heading there tonight for them to review the car's condition.

Not the best deal, but pretty good compared to my last two **** rapings by Ford and Toyota Stealerships!

Hopefully I'll have her tomorrow night, God willing.

I don't think dodge makes a quad cab sport in the 07 model year. Cuz i've been looking at them for awhile and I saw u can't select quad cab with the sport, I really woudln't want a qc anyway i think they are more like minivan's with a bed attached.
