I HAVE A 2003 5.7L HEMI 2WD RAM 1500. 57000 MILES.I NEED TO GET RID OF THE CRAPPY STOCK MUFFLER AND GET A NICE UPGRADE. I WAS THINKING FLOWMASTER OR MAGNAFLOW BUT I DONT KNOW WHAT SERIES TO BUY. I ALSO DONT WANT TO SPEND TOO MUCH SINCE IM A COLLEGE STUDENT. JUST SOMETHING THAT ADDS A NICE ROAR AND SOME HORSES.ANY SUGGESTIONS? ALSO, ANYONE KNOW ABOUT UPGRADING SPARK PLUGS? IS THEREA NOTICABLE DIFFERENCE? THANKS

 

I have the flowmaster super 40 on my truck and i love it. And for sparkplugs, stick with champion, you'll only end up regretting it if you change

 

The best muffler, for power/fuel economy, would be a straight through design such as Maganaflow, Gibson, Aero Turbine, etc.
The best muffler, subjective, for sound would be a chambered muffler like Flowmaster.

 

for flowmaster the 40 series is louder then the 50 series...... if u do a lot of driving u might regret the 40 series unless u like it loud......

 

Dynomax Welded Ultra Flow muffler. Expensive but worth it.

 

I got the flowmaster - not sure which model they installed but that baby rumbles and growls and grows mad attention in acceleration and especially with od off.

 

I just put on a Magnaflow on my 07 Hemi and I really like alot.

 

well, there isnt really a "best" exhaust... one that most people (i read on here) prefer are the magnaflow cat-backs... very pricey though.

 

I like Borla. But like i say, that's just me.
