I replaced all my speakers with all JL Audio...... night and day differance but then again i had the 4 speaker set up. I added 3.5's in the dash, 6x9's in the doors, the 5.25 behind, and added a JL W3 10 inch subwith a JL amp, plus a Pioneer head unit. Afriend of mine has the infinity system and hates it, loves my systemtho lol. Once you add the speakers to your dash it makes a huge differance.

Yeah I thought I was getting a good stock system being that it was infinity. Not so much. I did end up buying the Kicker replacements above for the front two (which is where most of the crap sound comes from in mine) We'll see how it sounds when I get them.

yea JL audio makes great stuff. I use them in all the systems I build for my friends and myself. If you want to keep the clean look of ur stock head unit. look at rockford fosgates 3 sixtys and JL's cleansweep. they allow you to keep the stock head unit but this baby is just like a aftermarket head unit. Does everything and then some. allows you to ad amps basically everything a aftermarket does but lets you keep ur dash lookin factory. Which IMO helps with theft becuase a nice head unit in the dash is a dead givaway for good stuff in the truck.

I too am already frustrated with the so called "Upgraded Infinity System"! I love the unit though! I dig the navigation features, satellite integration, and it's refreshing to have simple bass, treble, and fader controls that make sense, but the speakers are horrible!

I'm looking at the Cleansweep by JL audio mentioned in the last post. I'll probably go with JL Audio or MB Quart like I always do and replace all the speakers soon. In lieu of adding a custom box under the back seat, has anyone had any luck with a less involved subwoofer option other than a JL Stealth Box or Bazooka tube?

If you have the money go MB Quart for your speakers. Those things are soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo nice. The cleansweep is a nice unit did one in a Chevy Tahoe and it came out realllllllyyyy clean. Sounded great just like a aftermarket unit.

I traded in myride to buy the Ram with my JL Audio XR Series speakers and Eclipse deck and EQ along with my two JL Audio 10W3's in the back. The XR series was great! Most of the hardware was over 4 years old and I didn't want to mess with doing it myself so I let them go with the car. In hindsight I should have taken the time to remove everything, but screw it! Time for some new stuff anyway!

How much does the CleanSweep go for?

Right around 300 ish which was about a lil longer than a yr ago when they first came out. They are really nice. the best part is the versatility and being able to keep the stock looks in the dash. I have polk 6.5" speakrs and 4x6s in my jeep wrangler with a 300/4 jl amp and a single 12w3 powered by a e1400d by jl. now i have a clarion deck but i'm gnna buy a eclipse cd3100 in the next month since it has lot better equalizer built in. 3 Mid, bass and treble equalizers. that way you can keep the sub and the mids and highs seperate. it's really trick. plus you can pick the center frequency where the equalizer kicks in.

Does anybody know where the crossover is for the front 6x9s? Cause I just bought some nice Alpine 3way speakers and only bass comes out of them.
