I know the HEMI engine is good but just wondering how many miles the engine can take before seeing the end of it's life expectancy? What are people at with mile on their HEMI? I've got 36,000km / 22,370 mile on mine already. I know it all depends on how good your mainteance is but just looking for a general number if your doing regular oil changes.

 

i'm at 11,000 miles.

done two oil changes, 2nd one with synthetic.

runs great still. i do not know how many miles they will take though.

 

Just turned 23,000. And you are right, regular maintance and fixing problems before they total your engine is a good way to making it last a long time. I have a 91 Wrangler with a 2.5L (I am currently doing an engine swap with a total frame up rebuild) and when my dad owned it, maintance was something done as an afterthought... but there are 280,000 miles on that engine with no rebuilds.I hope to get more then that with the ole Hemi.

 

I just clicked 3700 on mine, I done an oil change at 2900 had it since February

 

67,000 miles on the oddometer but........... I think I have had somebody "clock" the mileage before I bought her as Carfax showed a missing 10,000 miles.
But hey....she runs real strong and the last 16,000 have been almost exclusively run on LPG gas.

37,000 turned it over to 35000 on the test drive in early feb. Only done one oil change right when i got it and switched over to synthetic

 

48,000 miles on my 04 QC Off-Road Hemi. Only problem so far is an EGR valve that had to be replaced. I've run 98% of those miles using 87 octane and using conventional motor oil every 3-5000 miles. Replaced spark plugs/wires with OEM at 45k, as well as AT fluid and front/rear diff's.

 

had 22000 on mine when I traded it in, had a slight oil leak, nothign major I am sure, ram very good. Was jsut not confident witht he trans and rear/front end gears streignth

 

53,000 on mine with amzoil 5w-30 started at 5000 miles. oil and filterevery 6000 miles with just a filter at 3000, plugs at 30,000. No problems at all. I look for the engine and drive train to run to at least 250k with minor repairs and regular maintnance

 

Got just over 3000 on mine.. don't think i have to worry about life expectancy yet
