I have a 2004 dodge ram 2500 quad cab CTD 4X4 SLT.All gauges light up and work except the heater control cluster doesnt light up with light switch on. (ac *****, fan control etc...)radio does light up though. could it be a seperate fuse for that?

Possible burned out LED's or loose connection? You could remove the dash and check to see if something came loose. I'm pretty sure mine light up in my 06 (never thought about it, but never had a problem changing settings in the dark), can't speak for the 04's

Pull out the ashtray/cup holder and undo the screw(s). The rest is just clips around the edges. That what it says in my Haynes anyway. My truck is a stick so it's just all clips from what I recall.

take out the 2 screws from the bottom of the panel under the steering wheel, pull out 2 clips on top of that. Then remove screw from behind that little clip on the right side. Then pull that whole center bezel out its just clipped in.
