I heard that Flowmaster came out with a new series of exhaust instead of the 40 (?). I heard that they have one called the Flowmaster Super 44. This true? Any input would be great! Because I am getting myself the 40 series soon and I'm hoping that it isn't discontinued by the time I go out to purchase it. Thanks!

Thanks, Pirata. If you have forgotten already, I don't look anything up. I'm too lazy. But really, thank you for doing so.
EDIT: I want to get a single in, dual out muffler. What is the stock size of the pipes? I want to get the same size in/out pipes. Thanks!
EDIT 2: I'm looking at the Flowmaster Super 44.
EDIT 3: Also, does it matter with Center in or Off Center in? What's the difference if any?

Well I am new to the Ram forums and I just made my first mods to my truck, and let me say that I am addicted!!!
Went from 17" stock steel rims (245/70/17's) to 20" SRT-10 rims with 305/50/20 and I love it.
I also picked up a billet grill. Looking to purchase the SRT-10 hood, K&N Cold Air Intake with HID converstion headlights.
But my next Mod is a new muffler.
I am looking to place a Flowmaster on my truck but does anyone have any input regarding the Super 44 on 2005 Dodge Ram 1500, 4.7L????
Any issues to worry about?
How bad was the drone inside the cab?
Any input is greatly appreciated because I am looking to buy this muffler this weekend.
Thanks DodgeForums.

Actually, after hearing about the Super 44, it just came out. I'm not 100% sure if anyone on here has one on their truck yet. You could be the first if you beat me to it which is more than likely. I am most def. getting the Super 44. It is much louder if you look at the charts on Flowmaster.com. I think that the Super 44 can compare to the original 40 Series. So I guess it'll be nice and throaty.

Hey just got here a few days ago and was reading this, i ordered the banks exhuast system. now i have a series 77 k&n air intake. i just got this truck brand spankin new i have had it for about a month and a half. I did some research and ordered the system. got it about a week later, new stock exhaust esay to remove. but the banks system isnt long enough if i take off the first resonater and intermeidate pipe the system is way to short. call banks and they said yea that they new about it and that their engineers were working on it. could be up to 3 months till they have a part or soultion.they offered to take it back but i really would like to put this on my truck. my question is if i leave the first reasonater on will this screw up my truck . all the system does is replace the muffler and the last resonator. the tech with banks it might cause engine damm or random noise problems do i just put it on and see what happens or wait till they figure it out need help thanks in advance
