I'd recommend shopping around dodge forums. I got mine for like 200 bucks from a member who traded in his hemi for a diesel.

 

Good recomendation but the 2007 version just came out a couple weeks ago so older versions will not be what I need, unless the older versions will work with the 2007. I am assuming that all versions are the same except the new data is not on the old versions.

 

the superchips flashpaq 3815 is internet updateable. So any 3815 flashpaq will work, you will just need to download the newest software for it.

Superchips dropped the hammer on vendors that were under selling the Flashpaq.
Dunno why.

The 3815 is the one you want. You will have to do 2 things when you get it (before you plug it into your truck)

1. Download and install the software on a computer.
2. Reboot and run the software. It will ask you to plug in the tuner(USB cable is provided by SC) and update the tuner.

I have a 3815 for my 2006 and love it. I was under the impression once you set it up and it reads your VIN and other relevant info that its locked and cant be used on another truck. Is this incorrect?

 

Oh almost forgot, there is some other things you need like, you have to make an account to get the software, which alsogets you into the SC Forums.

They will send you a password, or maybe not. Then you have to call em. Number is in the manual and on their website.

They have pretty good tech support. Not to bright but personable.

Once I get the tuner plugged in to the truck its as easy as Pie. A caveman could do it.

You can Un-Marry it from your truck if you want to sell it. It returns your truck to stock and Marries itself to the new truck.
I think it tells you how in the chezzy folded paper manual.
