Cool thanks, I just checked at autozone for mobile one oil and it was 29.99 a case of 6 quarts and the filter was 9.99, it was like M01-401 I believe but not 100% sure. So looks to be a lil over 40 bucks to change the oil but I will be stopping by walmart tomorrow that place is always packed ugh....
thanks for the reply, have a good weekend

I think Wal Mart will beat the price on Mobil 1 syn. I know what you mean about shopping there....I avoid that place this time of the year!

The Mobil1 jug at WalMart is 5 quarts, not 4. I just switched to it and it's getting me a little over 1 mpg more than before. Not much, but everything helps.

I think Sam's Club is the cheapest for Mobil 1, I pay $23.74 or $23.94 for a 6 qt case, its the best deal I have found.

I guess its cheap at the Walmart here, $17.50 for the jug and an extra quart for $3.77, thats about $21.25 for the oil. Fram filter is $3.99, so a full synthetic oil change for $25...not bad in my book!!

I'm a Truck Mechanic and have tried syn oil in my 74 T-Bird for one year and found thatSynthetic oil may have better qualities as far as lubrication,it still gets diluted and dirty just as fast in a naturally asperated Engine. If your running an Engine that is Overfueling like most performance engines do the period of time between oil changes doesn't really change.I found that the extra cost of synthetic over normal oils just wasn't worth trying to extend an oil change.
