Don't have HD radio. It has the option, but I don't listen to commercial radio.
One thing I should have done before soldering the amp bypass harness to the head unit harness is shorten the bypass harness. I must have 10 feet of extra wire coiled up behind the ac/heater unit.
I love the 3 lines of display that it has. Most other head units only have 2 at the most. It's also cool how the faceplate flips inside the unit when you turn the key off.

If your radio has HD radio available, it is free. You just have to find the channels. Goto HDRADIO.com and find the stations for your area. I also would like to know how the HD sound is...PLEASE..

BTW, Looks good on the install.

Nice. Does the display change face color?

I'm not entirely sure how HD radio works, but I think you need a HD tuner to get them. Just like I needed a Sirius tuner to get satellite radio.
I've printed out the local HD stations list and will go out and dial them in and see what happens.
As for the faceplate display color, it stays blue, unless I haven't come across that section in the owners' manual.

Update:
HD Radio is only available with the optional HD tuner. I barely found room to mount my Sirius tuner. Even if I did listen to commercial radio, it'd be difficult to find another mounting location.

Maybe I'm missing something, but doesn't your head unit says HD Radio?

This is what I am thinking. The tuner should be built in...
