I'M LOOKING FOR WAYS TO PULL MORE POWER OUT OF A 4.7L
I bought my 2003 4.7L 1500 a while ago and since thenI've put on rims and a CAI.But nowI'm looking for ways to pull morepower outof that little4.7L because the way it is now isn't cutting it.I noticedafter puttingon mynew rims and tires that theysucked down thepower because they're so frickin' heavy.If any one could give me some suggestions (other than exhaust)on whereI could start that would be great.

I HATE YOU PEOPLE WITH THE SPORT GROUP AND 4.7L lol. THe dealer tell sme you can't get it and god damnit If i don't see more people with it on the forum everyday. LOL just kidding I don't hate you. Very nice looking truck. I don't know of many performance mods other than exhaust I don't think there is much out there for the 4.7L. That's kinda why i'm waiting for 08 because the 4.7 is updated to have i've heard from anywhere between 290 to 330 hp. which would be a nice boost over the 235 the ones now have.
In a RCSB it does pretty good but i've driven them in QC's and yea I agree it is a bit slow. but at least what I want is RC so I don't need to worry. NICE truck tho I really like the wheels works great with the red.

Take a look at the 212x cam, same low end torque as the 206 but more high end HP. Upwards of 50HP gains, plus a set of headers would make it complete after you add that exhaust...

yeah I know that www.krcperformance.com has alot of 4.7 liter stuff. They have a super charger for the 4.7 as well.

well dodgeit how much do you want to spend,i to have a 4.7,cai,70mm bbk tb,JBA shorties,superchip,and eletric fans,outof all my mods the one i felt the most was the headers,before if the truck thought a hill was coming it would down shift,now it just keeps on rolling in o\d,
