make sure you get the SC 3815 not the SCT. SC ( superchips) and sct are different companies with far different programmers. the sct is for more of amodded motor and its a custom tune and the sc is for stock to lighly modded with 3 preprogrammed canned tuned.

Besides running smoother and longer life, not much of a difference in the plugs??

yeah the sct is a great product too but its more for the trucks with more internal mods. youll love the SC. hopefully they come out with the new upgrades for the sc 3815 soon.
check in the classifieds here or even i on other forums for dodge. i see them in there for around $200+ all the time.

Default Superchips

Looking at the superchips website getting ready to order and I also see the cortex. Has anyone tried it and if so how is it. I see a lot of people swearing by the flashpaq, but besides the SC website I haven't seen anything about the Cortex?????? I think I saw somewhere that it can be used on multiple vehicles. Anyone know???

the cortex can be used on any mopar vehicle. you cannot use it on multiple vehicle at the same time though. the orginal vehicle programmed has to be tuned back to the stock setting to unlock the programmer for use on another vehicle. the flashpaq can be used on any dodge gas truck 98-07 5.9,4.7,5.7 .... for the much higher price tag of the cortex i do not think its worth it. check the flashpaq.com forum and ask them over there.

Talking Hey

I got a 2002 dodge ram 4.7 and i was wondering what i could do to it to make it faster without having to go inside the motor i alredy have 40 series flowmasters with no cats. But what else could i do to livin it up. and i was also wanting to know how far do i have to lower the back of the truck to make it level with the front it still sits stock with butt in the air and i would like to just make it level and. and i got about 6,000 dollars and i am trying to find a supercharger or turbo to put on my truck but if you could just hit me back with some ideas
thanks
rosco

$6000 hmmmmm
go to airram.com and check out his entire site. he excels in the 4.7l world.... you cna do alot with 6k. turbo/supercharger is not the route i woudl go until my motor was fully built to handle it. your 4.7l engine/trnany cannot handle higher boost than 5-7 lbs. build the motor then boost it.
i would do roatating assembly ( forged crank, pistons, bearing and all that)
then do cams and ported heads. then a new throttle body, efan headers, cai,GEARS, a nice torque converter,LSD and a custom tuned sct programmer. you will have a very very quick 4.7l if you do that.
