I wouldn't take one from the scrapyard. The Dodge LSD's are crap. Check out the post "Look what I found!" on this section. This guy's rearend LSD blew apart. And apparantly its a common occurance. Go with a good name ARB, Auburn, Detroit Locker, etc....

Sorry Nasty. I would like some of these in the future. I would probably go with the ceramic coating which I've been told insulates the gasket for getting too hot and leaking. Did you go with an aftermarket Y-pipe when you did yours?

This may be a stupid question, but what does "409L Stainless steel" mean exactly?

nastyram, did you notice any gains from the headers. I have heard not to many people do but now that I have cams installed I would think they are the missing link I am looking for

This may be a stupid question, but what does "409L Stainless steel" mean exactly?
409 is a titanium stabilised ferritic stainless steel. Although regarded as a general-purpose chromium stainless steel the primary application for Grade 409 is automotive exhaust systems. Its applications are those where appearance is a secondary consideration to mechanical properties and corrosion resistance and where some weldability is required.
More highly stabilised versions of 409 are useful where 409 has been proven marginal - these grades S40910, S40920 and S40930 are stabilised with titanium, niobium or both titanium and niobium.

Now that is exact. Thank you very much Sir!

287cc, was there a noticable difference when you put the TB on? Did you get the 68.5mm or did you go bigger?
