i have headers to twim cats that run to a super 44 muffler out 2
the K&N cromed air intake...not that that makes much of a difference just looks nicer

kregier,
I have the 68.5mm and this mod is a must for our motors. The gains are very noticable, your throttle is light to the touch.

287 what do you think about an evenlarger TB? I was thinking of the BBK 70mm or the F&B 72mm. Just figured more size for when I do cams, headers, etc.... at a later date. Isn't the stock size a 68mm?

From what I have read on other forums the 68.5mm is perfect for mods without running a turbo. Here is a quote from his website about the tb stock size and why his is a true 68.5mm.
"

Both the 65mm and 68mm TB's are really 3mm smaller than advertised because of the restriction above the throttle blades.

The Fastman 4.7 TB's remove this restriction and are a True 68.50mm bore all the way through

Hawkdriver, you wont be dissapointed with the mod. Oh and also for the price, the fastman's tb is $260 but when you return your old tb to him he will refund you 80 bucks so you will be getting a great mod for under $200.

So then I would assume that the ones he sells are just stock TB's bored and polished?

Good site. I wish he would show some Dyno charts on that claim though. I know there's probably more too it but it seems as though you couldtake that lip off at a local machineshop for less and just hand polish it. I believe him though when he says thats the optimum size though. More air/fuel is'nt always necessary. It will also look stock when the truck goes into the dealer (warranty).

Yeah no worries on the dealer noticing anything. Imo, your best bet is your local machine shop like you stated or just buy from him, I would not pay $300 for those other brands. Pm sent btw.

Yeah I'm with you on that. I might spend the $ if I knew it was going to be asignificant gain 10-15hp. But I hav'nt been able to get a definitive answer from those who have one. Heres my ratio 5hp=$100 give or take. (mostly take lol)
