Is it possible to turn off the door open chime, when I have the keys in the ignition (acc position) listening to the radio with he doors open?

 

Yessir. Read your manual. There is a procedure for disabling that chime, the seat belt chime, etc...

 

Just an after thought. Do you realize that that chime is there, to help you NOT to lock your keys in your truck?

 

yea but I want to listen to music with the doors open more than I lock the keys in it. Thanks

turn the key to "Run" not "ACC" and it wont chime

 

yeah but i don't wont everything powered up,just the radio

 

you cant lock the door on my 06 with a key in the ignition, if you can't get it to work with the manuals instructions take it to the dealer and have them hook it up to the STARSCAN, they can shut it off in there, will take like 10 minutes.

If your trying to listen to music with the door open without turning the key all the way simply switch the latch in your door. It should lock in the closed position while the doors open if ya move it down. Problem solved without pulling wires 😯😯
