Ok ,Put your thinking caps on. Has Dodge ever put a 5.2 Engine in a Dodge? Some one told me that they had a 5.2 engine in there 01 Dodge. .I have never feard of it. Has anyone else .?

yes, in 1981-1987, 1988-1991and in 1992-1993

It's usually called a 318. That's what I have known it by.

 

The 5.2/318 was used untill 2001. Then the HEMI took is place. It was used in trucks, full-sized vans and even in the Dakota.

 

the 318 was not replaced by the Hemi...it was replaced by the 4.7L ....the 360 was replaced by the hemi

My old '91 Dakota had a 318. My Dad has 2 Ramchargers both have a 318.
