Default 120mph+ (200kmh) on slight uphill grade hemi rc. 4x2

this post is in response to those who sent me pm's and messages saying my truck is not capable of about 130 i achieved racing a ricer a week or two ago. i'd guess my truck maxes out at 130 or so. this video is on a highway that has a slight uphill grade in the direction i was traveling. did it as kind of a spur of the moment thing. i should have taken the time to plan it out. anybody else have a top speed figure for there ram? please list mods and type of vehicle. ive noticed that my speedo will not turn past 200kmh yet the vehicle is still accelerating (gaining rpms) does everyones ram do this? in my last vehicle i could pin the needle to the dash.

here's round 2. notice the speedo stops at 200kmh. ill have to do yet another and use my g-tech to get a speed reading.

Sure hope you've got the right speed rated tires for that thing???

I wouldn't want a blow out at that speed.

nope sure don't. have the stock goodyear wranglers on. i dont think theyre rated past much over 100. but, the way the tire speed rating is achieved is by running at speed for several hours. they'll hold up past the rating for short periods of time. funny you should ask. i have new tires with a higher speed rating that i havnt gotten around to putting on yet. 305/50/20's.

i didnt let my tailgate down in the vid, saw a show on myth busters about it. doesnt help you one way or another. having it down can create a vacume and actually slow you down. morganmkelly. what does the 180 degree thermostat do? does it keep you running hotter? what ar the benifits? ive noticed quite a few people have them on here.

I definitely never doubted you. More of a worry though than the tires is the flimsy *** driveshafts the 1500's have.

yeah you can see the nasty gap in acceleration from 105-115 in the vids. really ticking me off. i want the 6.1 cam and 4.56 auburn gears. want to do the cam myself, but im afraid to screw up my truck with a rookie mistake.
