Default Gas Mileage

Hello everyone, I am updating my question, so please read on. I just bought a 2004 Dodge Ram 2500 quad cab 4x4 with the 5.7 ltr Hemi. First question is How long is the Break in? and what type of mileage might I expect. Right now I have just over 550 miles on it. The first tank I averaged 12.8 mpg. Will it get better with more mileage on it?

Well Thanks I will take 14 and be happy because my Silverado only got 12 if I was lucky. So 14 sounds pretty good.

My '03 Hemi Ram gets mid 13's typically. If I can keep my foot out of it (which is rare) I've gotten low 14's. That's about it. Mine's a quad cab 4X4 3/4 ton- depending on what yours is, that may affect it.
