The dyno results that they advertise or the dyno results that you got? There is a big difference there. Now Im not saying that it is a good or bad setup because I have never used them before but from experience the companies that advertise the highest gains on their dyno's dont stack up to well when compared to the ones that you get off your vehicle because they never give you "honest" results, they tend to exagerate them a little so they come accross as being the best of the best. And no Im not saying that its just the company that you bought yours from because they all do it. But hey its your truck so if you like it then thats all that matters right.

well obviously the companies exagerate they said this intake give you 19.1hp and like 37.9 torqu...[sm=icon_blah.gif] however it does add power and the guys on dodgetruckworld put a lot of research into it and this came out on top...

That's why I decided on the true flow. I liked the filter and it is very unrestrictive. The guys over at dtw are the hemi gurus. The guys who build the performance trannys and the hemi strokers and a ton of guys who run that stuff and forced induction think the true flow is about the best intake out there. I'll take some guys word for it if his profession is building hemi performance parts and gets no cut from true flow if I buy one of their intakes.

I'm on DTW, very good forum, but, those guys are no different than these guys, some have done a lot, so naturally have some decent knowledge & experience, some don't know squat, but think they do, and the average guy is just looking to have a nicer ride and learn what he/she can.
The true gurus, the guys who do this for a living, the guys who work at or own performance shops, the guys who OWN dynos, the guys who PROGRAM tuners, reside over at Bionic Dodge!

Now, as far as TD's intake goes. Knock off the crap and grow thehell up! The guy just spent his money on an upgrade AND installed it himself. Is it better than my K&N? I don't know. Is it better than a AFe? I don't know. Is it better than the True Flow kit that DOESN'T use the stock box? I honestly don't know that either. I've seen almost every company that makes a CAI show Dyno's that have shown their's to be the best.THE ONE THING I DO KNOW, HOWEVER,IS THAT IT IS AN UPGRADE FROM HIS STOCK SETUP & HE IS HAPPY WITH IT. That's all that should matter here fella's...

Damn TD,
I decided to speak my mind and killed this thread faster than my ex takes me to court after she finds out I got a nickel an hour raise at work.
