Not sure if that can be considered a CAI.
Your correct it can not be considered a CAI like that. Me, I would go with an Air Ram.

Hey TD,

I plan on using the same setup on my truck here within the next month hopefully. Now that you have had it on more than a month have you noticed any gains in MPG's, throttle response, etc.? Is it worth the money to get?

i honestly do love this intake still i have noticed the truck breathes better the air is readily available.... i think i might try and rig something similar to the jet stream created by ram air to go directly to the box and get even better performance... the intake was well worth the money... gas mileage may have went up a little prolly will be more noticable with a tuner though... i have no regrets on this purchase at all.... i read on a couple other forums from a guy who had a k and n an aem and one other one dont recall and he liked his trueflow the best...
let me no if you choose it!

Cool, I plan on using true flow. I plan on getting it this next month when I get my end of the year bonus I have heard alot of good things about true flow and after reading this thread it sealed the deal for me. I will post pics of it when its done. True flow has this new XDI Xtreme Duty air intake whichcost a bit more in price but it looks good and is suppose to perform better. Not sure if I can convince my wife to let me get that one though lol

Awesome! Let me know what you think about it after installing and running it. I found it on Amazon for $305 but that didnt include shipping so it will probably be around the same price you got it for.
